During the plenary discussion, deputies expressed their views on the government work report and shared opinions about the biomedical industry, private economic development, and the redevelopment of urban villages, transportation, education and other areas affecting livelihoods.

In terms of road traffic, NPC deputy Li Lizhen hopes traffic dispersion measures will be conducted more scientifically in the future.

Although focused on building a city with a strong manufacturing industry, NPC deputy Kong Yanhua also hopes that government will have relevant support policies for corporate environmental protection and fire control. Meanwhile, the education of migrant workers' children is also worth noticing.

NPC deputy Liang Yaoming mentioned that the outstanding medical conditions, talents and industrial base of Guangzhou make it the most suitable city for the development of biomedicine in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Therefore, it should set up an innovation center to develop the biomedical industry.

NPC deputy Yang Tao, attending the conference for the first time, expressed his great pleasure in participating and expressed concern about the private economy, innovation and entrepreneurship.
